I have a thing for gloves... Especially when we are discussing opera length leather loveliness.  The long awaited line by Dita Von Teese which launched recently is like a dream to me.  If you haven't had a chance to gaze your eyes over them, may I present to you a selection of my favourites.

My favourite of them all!

I first spotted Erotique on one of the images for Dita's lingerie line Von Follies.  In particular, on the Madame X sets.  There was word that Dita shot with her personal collection of beautiful gloves but also word that a line of delicious styles were being produced by the lady herself.  I was thrilled to hear this; even if I would only be dreaming of owning a pair for myself.

Latex Love - Très Bonjour

I am always cooing and swooning over all the gorgeous latex and lovely ladies in latex I come across but am yet to own a piece myself.  Not that I haven't wanted to of course, for years now but it isn't something you can throw on to go to the shops with.  I can definitely think of a few places/events I would wear latex to but so far it hasn't pushed me enough to purchase an outfit.  Although I have been considering it more and more.  Do any of my lovely readers wear latex?  Is it the case of once you pop you just can't stop?  Will I get the bug and continue to amass a big collection?  I do seriously think that before the end of the year if/when I have some money to spare I will have purchased a pair of stockings at least.  Now, they are something I can definitely wear I have no doubt.  A lovely pair of glossy pins!  They are probably perfect for the winter months ahead of us in fact.

The Un-Dressing Parlour

Hello everyone!

How are you all on what has turned out to be a lovely(sunny) morning so far?  This is just an in-between post to tell you about something new I have set up.  I have become increasingly obsessed with looking through Tumblr of late.  Not that I don't already save and search for endless images anyway.  But so much so it only made sense for me to start my own.  I don't think I have time to write two blogs and Tumblr is ideal in many ways.  My initial thoughts were to blog about Mens style/fashion as I work with them nearly everyday.  A well dressed dapper gent turns my head more so than a lady ever does.  This is partly because it seems to be a rare occasion and you have to take it in when you get the chance.  It's almost like fresh unpolluted air.

However when signing up to Tumblr that idea all changed.  I thought to myself, what am I obsessed with more than most things (apart from shoes)?  Lingerie and tattoos of course!

So from there on The Un-Dressing Parlour was born...

How do you like the name?!  I thought it very fitting to call it that.  It is only in the beginning stages but with most things I'd love for it to fruit!

My Pinterest & New Page Tabs

Do you have a Pinterest page?  I registered some time ago but never really got round to using it until recently.  Well now I am pinning like no other!  I was always one to save images off the web and have scrape books and collected things when I was little.  Nothing has really changed I guess.  I love to look at inspiring images and especially with hairstyles.  I like to try my hands at recreating them to push my skills further.  Interiors is another big love of mine as you will see when looking through my boards.

It would be great to see your pins too and exchange our ideas.  I am most certain we will like at least some of the same things ;)

Miss L Fire and Ophelia Fancy does Sample Sales... WooHoo!

A little before Christmas the wonder that is Miss L Fire held a sample sale.  It's always a bad idea for me to attend a sample sale.  Especially one that lets you use your card.  Red Alert!

This sample sale was one not to be missed and word on the 'street' is that they will be holding more of these this year.  I'll keep my ear out for sure!  Hope you love my new shoes.  I haven't road tested them yet but will do very soon.

Whilst I am here I wanted to tell you about another sample sale on Saturday 21st Jan, 11-6pm.  One I cannot attend due to location but I think it's worth a look if you're round that way.  Ophelia Fancy make some wonderful frillies that will make you squeal!  Read more about it on their Facebook events page.  Apparently every item will be £5 or less.
